Masu is a traditional Japanese wooden box. Oftentimes, people measure rice or drink sake out of it, enjoying the added flavor of the natural woody scent. The difference between the regular Masu Box is that this Coated Masu Box Cup allows you to have colored drinks, such as red wine and coffee, without worrying about staining.
The coating process does take out the scent of the natural wood, so Hinoki only has a very subtle scent, and cedar has none. If you prefer it to be stronger, we recommend the regular Masu Box with no coating.

Hinoki Cypress:Made of high-grade hinoki cypress, Tono Hinoki, from Gifu prefecture, Japan, is known to be one of the best places to get hinoki.
Japanese Cedar:
Made of high-grade Japanese Cedar, Yoshino Sugi, from Nara prefecture, Japan. It is a well-known brand for its quality cedar.

Care Guide
Hand wash with warm water and mild dish soap. Not dishwasher safe. Not microwavable. Store in a dry, dark place. Let it dry in the shade.This is a delicate product, so please use it with care.
