Why use an unscented candle?
Our masu box candle in Muki is unscented, and although we know that people love, love, love the scented candles, we made our first product unscented for a couple of reasons.
You may or may not have experienced getting sick from a strong smell of candles or perfumes. But especially for those who have a sensitive nose, having a constant scent around them can get disturbing. The creator, too, experience that from time to time.
There may be occasions that you wish to have a pretty lit candle, but the scent is unnecessary such as during mealtime. It would not vanish the smell of the food, and in addition, the wax refreshes the air. It is also perfect when you have other scented items like a room fragrance or a defuser and do not want to mix the smell.
We wanted Muki to be a product that anyone could use at any time of the year. By not adding fragrance, we took a step to accomplish the goal for this flavor of the candle.
