WHAT WE CARE

  • Quality

    Our box is professionally handcrafted in Japan by artisans, then imported to the United States. Each box has a unique wooden pattern and not a single product looks the same.

    We use 100% soy wax made in the USA. Candles are hand poured after we receive orders for you to have a freshly made product.

  • Culture

    Japan values the changing seasons which inspired us to make season themed candles. In haiku, there are idioms dedicated to describe and indicate seasons they are portraying. They could be short words but have long meanings behind them. We use those idioms to name our candles, originally blended essential oils for the scents to match each name.

  • Sustainability

    Masu boxes are made of sustainably resourced wood. Washi paper and thank you notes we use for the packaging are sustainably made since the tree branches are cut in a specific way for them to regrow. Box and washi paper are intended to be reused. Our made to order policy also leads to no waste, serving eco-friendly business.

Not only is the wooden wick a nice touch and balance to the wooden masu box, but the soy wax is so much better than candles you can get elsewhere.
